Job SummaryRequirements

Minimum of 5 years' experience in Collections and Recoveries
At least 3 years' experience in Collections Management or as a Supervisor
Minimum of 3 years' experience in collections within banking or financial services, with personal loans experience being essential
Proficient in dialer strategies and operations within a collections environment
Solid understanding of collection and recovery processes and methodologies
Knowledge of Debt Review legislation and associated processes
Familiarity with relevant debt collection legislation and legal guidelines
Essential: Previous experience managing relationships with External Debt Collectors

Responsibilities

Drive all elements of the execution of collections and recovery strategies as set by Risk and executed by 3rd party vendors.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across various banking products, including Debt Review matters.
Maximize collections and recoveries by managing relationships and performance with External Debt Collectors and Debt Review parties
Conduct regular audits and call listening to uphold TCF guidelines and bank compliance.
Review daily dialer stats to optimize contact, RPC, and PTP outcomes
Investigate and resolve customer queries and complaints promptly while protecting the Brand
Assist with documentation requested for Debt Review matters promptly
Ensure that up-to-date and accurate product, process, and training documentation is developed and shared with external parties
Implement and manage ad hoc collection campaign processes (e.g., undue enrichment, card collections)
