They are looking for a Cold Storage Supervisor to join their team. The successful applicant will reportJOB DESCRIPTION:MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Stock control xe2x80x93 from deboning department to freezers
• Stock control xe2x80x93 stock booked out from freezers to clients
• Daily livestock figures to management
• To assist with export documents when needed
• Ordering of materials xe2x80x93 pallets, etc.
• To ensure orders are accurate and complete xe2x80x93 communication to clients and Telesales in the event of shortages, etc.
• Be able to work in cold conditions +5 to -25 degrees
• Work overtime when needed
• Monthly stock take
• Financial year end stock take
• Time and attendance of employees in department
• Record keeping of all returns and the inspection of the quality of the returns in conjunction with the Quality Control employees

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric
• Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 3 xe2x80x93 4 Years experience in a similar position
• Basic knowledge of pork products / cuts
• Able to maintain discipline in the department
• Sober habits
• Able to concentrate and work under pressure
• Computer literate (MS Office and Abaserve)
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Good communication skills on all levels
• Good mathematical skills
• Office housekeeping
• Good timekeeping
