We're seeking a dynamic Application Specialist to oversee and optimize our Cognos Analytics environment, support supply chain reporting, and deliver scalable, reliable reports and dashboards.
Requirements
What You'll Do:

• Lead the development and enhancement of Cognos Framework Manager models, reports, dashboards, and data cubes.

• Architect and deliver complex reporting solutions, including drill-through and Slice & Dice capabilities.

• Act as the technical lead for large projects, guiding teams and ensuring delivery within Agile and traditional frameworks.

• Collaborate with stakeholders across functions to understand needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

• Mentor and develop junior team members to build a high-performing analytics team.

• Manage user access, security, and infrastructure for Cognos.

• Stay at the forefront of Cognos and analytics innovations, applying best practices and new techniques.

Your Expertise & Experience:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a Cognos Administrator and Report Developer.

• Strong proficiency in Cognos Analytics, report development, metadata modeling, and dashboard creation.

• Certification in Cognos Analytics (essential).

• Skilled in SSIS (intermediate to advanced).

• Experience leading projects through the full SDLC.

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and tools like JIRA (advantageous).

• Knowledge of supply chain or distribution systems is a plus.

• Solid analysis, design, testing, and support experience.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (advantageous).
