Purpose of the Role

To ensure the safe, professional, and timely delivery of stock to clients within South Africa and cross-border, while assisting with loading/offloading, vehicle checks, and relevant operational duties. The role combines professional driving with general worker responsibilities to support smooth logistics and factory operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Driving Duties

Operate a Code 14 vehicle with a 2-axle drawbar trailer safely and efficiently. Verify deliveries against packing sheets & invoices for accuracy. Ensure on-time delivery and collection from client customers. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company transport policies. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and proper care.

2. Loading & Offloading

Assist with loading and offloading at the factory and customer locations. Secure and handle stock with care during transport. Coordinate with the factory and dispatch teams to ensure efficient processes.

3. Vehicle Checks & Records

Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Report mechanical issues promptly. Complete and maintain delivery registers, checklists, and trip documentation. Record deliveries, collections, and client acknowledgements accurately.

4. Customer Site Conduct

Represent the company professionally during deliveries. Ensure all delivery paperwork is signed and completed. Follow customer rules and protocols while on site.

5. General Worker Duties

Assist with factory-related tasks when not driving. Support housekeeping, maintenance, and operational activities. Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor/manager.

Minimum 5+ years

Code 14 driving experience (logistics/deliveries preferred).

2-Axle Draw Bar Trailer experience
