Location : Ehlanzeni
Position: x9 Drivers - Fixed Term Contract (5 months)
Salary: R180 600.00pa
Main purpose of the job
Responsible for transportation of the companies staff, specimens, reports and/or supplies within the designated area.
Key Job Responsibility
- Deliver reports/letters and collect specimens from outlying clinics, hospitals, and laboratories according to set schedules, to facilitate adherence to agreed turnaround times
- Delivers equipment, stock, and media to the companies laboratories, as needed to ensure continuity of service
- Maintain the motor vehicle by re-fuelling it and ensuring it is in good working order to supply a reliable transport service
- Complete logbook to ensure compliance with company policies
- Liaise with customers internally and externally
- Observe and adhere to good hygienic and Safety Standards.
- Grade12 (Matric)/ NQF level 4
- A valid drivers license (Codec 10)
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a driver
- License card endorsed with an appropriate PDP
- Valid proof of professional drivers permit as per RTMA (Road Traffic Management Act) for goods
- Valid drivers training certificates from accredited training provider as authorised by the Department of Transport
- Knowledge of routes/road hazards or risks reading and writing
- Knowledge of Maps and understanding GPS Coordinates
