Job Description

Hire Resolve's Client is currently seeking experienced Coal Miners to join our client's mining operations in Mpumalanga. As a Coal Miner, you will play a vital role in the extraction and production of coal, ensuring the continuous operation of underground mines.

You will work with a team of skilled professionals, utilizing advanced mining techniques and equipment to safely extract coal from the earth's surface. Your commitment to safety and adherence to mining regulations will be fundamental to the success of the operation.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain underground mining equipment and machinery
• Follow safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Perform regular inspections of equipment and report any abnormalities or malfunctions
• Monitor coal supplies and production levels
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize mining operations
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Relevant mining qualification or certification
• Blasting Certificate for Fiery Mines or National Certificate in Rock Breaking for Coal Mining
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Coal Miner
• Proven knowledge of underground mining techniques and equipment
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in challenging and physically demanding environments
• Valid driver's license
