Job Description

Purpose of the Role



The Club General Manager (CGM) is responsible for overseeing the performance,

profitability, and operational excellence of their club.

This role ensures that all clubs operate in full alignment with Edge Fitness Clubs' brand

standards, operational policies, and strategic objectives -- fostering a culture of excellence,

accountability, and growth in the club.

The CGM provides leadership, strategic direction, and support to the club level managers,

driving both financial and operational results while enhancing member satisfaction and

team engagement.

Key Responsibilities



1. Financial & Business Management

Develop, monitor, and manage budgets for the club.

Analyse financial performance and implement corrective actions where required.

Drive revenue across membership sales, personal training, and ancillary services.

Ensure full compliance with financial and procurement policies.

2. Operational Excellence & Compliance

Maintain consistent brand and service standards across all clubs.

Conduct regular club audits and ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions.

Oversee facility maintenance, health and safety compliance, and risk management.

Monitor adherence to all company policies, procedures, and legal obligations.

3. Leadership & People Development

Lead, motivate, and mentor club level managers and their teams.

Ensure performance management, coaching, and development plans are in place.

Promote a culture of engagement, accountability, and excellence.

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning across the region.

4. Member Experience & Brand Delivery

Champion a consistent, high-quality member experience aligned with Edge Fitness

brand values.

Drive member retention and satisfaction through operational focus and engagement

initiatives.

Ensure service areas, equipment, and facilities meet company standards at all times.

5. Sales Support & Community Growth

Support club teams in achieving sales and membership targets.

Drive local marketing and community engagement initiatives to grow brand visibility.

Monitor lead generation, conversion ratios, and retention performance.

Minimum Requirements



Demonstrated track record of high performance and leadership success.

Proven experience managing people and delivering results in a fast-paced

environment.

Strong business and financial acumen.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Fitness Industry experience
