Medical Aid + Provident + Risk Benefits ? 20% Annual Incentive Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an exceptional Club General Manager to lead a premium luxury wellness and fitness centre. This is a senior leadership role for a commercially astute, people-focused manager passionate about changing lives through holistic wellness. ? Your Purpose o Build and lead a thriving social wellness community o Take full ownership of the operational and commercial performance of the club o Drive member engagement, retention and brand excellence o Lead high-performance teams aligned to strong service values o Deliver exceptional, memorable member experiences every day ? Commercial Management o Full P&L ownership including revenue, EBITDA and cost control o Drive sales acquisition, member retention and ancillary revenue streams o Manage capital investment projects and ROI o Actively reduce member churn through engagement strategies o Ensure compliance with company standards, audits and risk controls ? Facility Management o Maintain a premium, luxury club environment at all times o Oversee operations, health & safety and maintenance standards o Ensure preventative maintenance is implemented and signed off o Manage utilities, equipment and brand presentation ? People Management o Recruit, develop and lead high-performing teams o Manage tenants, contractors and service partners o Drive staff engagement, training and development o Apply performance management across all departments o Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and code of conduct ? Member Experience & Service o Lead teams to deliver exceptional, personalised member experiences o Ensure staff build strong relationships with members o Resolve queries and complaints with sound judgement and care o Deliver consistent moments of delight and "wow" experiences o Drive the holistic social wellness strategy within the club ? Competitor & Market Analysis o Monitor competitor activity and market trends o Identify risks and opportunities o Report insights to senior leadership ? Minimum Requirements o Matric (NSC) - essential o Relevant tertiary qualification (Business / Hospitality / Retail) - NQF 7 o Minimum 6+ years as a Club General Manager or General Manager o Experience in premium or luxury hospitality, wellness, country club or retail environments o Strong commercial and financial acumen o Proven entrepreneurial mindset o Solid project management experience o Excellent understanding of local market and demographics o Minimum 4+ years people management experience o Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills o Strong HR knowledge: recruitment, performance management, coaching o Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments o High emotional intelligence and leadership maturity ?
