Cloud Solutions Engineer Architect - Cape Town
Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud solutions (on-prem + Azure).
Develop secure, scalable, and resilient cloud infrastructures aligned with business needs.
Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates, etc.) to automate deployments.
Write and maintain scripts for automation, monitoring, and orchestration (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
Collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams for integrated cloud solutions.
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions (IaaS, BaaS, DRaaS).
Monitor and optimize performance, security, and cost of cloud infrastructure.
Document cloud architectures, configurations, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements:

5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering, solution design, or hybrid cloud implementation.
Strong experience with:

Hitachi Vantara technologies (storage, backup, DR).
Microsoft Azure (compute, storage, networking, security, automation).
Expertise in hybrid cloud architecture and solution deployment.
Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, ARM templates, etc.) and automation scripting.
Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance standards, and governance.
Relevant certifications preferred:
