Title Cloud Solutions Architect Lead - Azure



The successful candidate will be responsible for technical and architectural engagements/projects using Microsoft Azure technologies. As a lead architect, the candidate will be required to establish and grow business for Altron in Microsoft Azure technologies via Modernization, Migration, Hybrid Cloud and Cloud-Native initiatives/projects. It will require the candidate to provide guidance across the business, defining and enhancing the Altron cloud strategy as well driving the cloud journey of our customers. In so doing, this will ensure the best possible cloud journey whilst owning the respective technical engagements to build our business, capability and enablement in Altron Software Engineering Practice xe2x80x93 Complementing our offerings to our clients.



Develop a Microsoft Azure Technologies engineering capability within Altron Software Engineering practice by driving best practices implementation for delivery of Microsoft Azure technologies hosted solutions

Lead technical deep-dive discussions with internal and client technical teams

Validate cloud solutions suitable for clients, presenting alternatives

Develop proof of technologies and proof of concepts

Work with partner solution providers

Document and present complex architectures for the customerxe2x80x99s technical teams

Support the sales team

Mentor development teams in cloud best practices

Demonstrate strategic thinking around where the customer organizations are going and how technology can support these efforts

Continuously update their skills and certifications to stay relevant and ahead in the field

Qualifications:

Degree in Computer Science or Engineering

Appropriate certifications

Experience:

Experience in Enterprise Patterns (MicroServices, SOA, Event Model, Data Driven Design, MVC etc.)

Solid Understanding of Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Reference Architecture and ICT

Experience in Azure Cloud Architecture and Patterns

Exposure to TOGAF 9, ITIL and ITSM frameworks

Experience in Hybrid Architectures and Cloud Migration (with experience in modernization)

Proven track record of successful business & project outcomes focused on cloud modernization

Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

Strong Analytical Thinking

Strong Leadership Abilities with Knowledge Sharing and Upskilling Team Members

Advantageous Experience:

Experience in Azure DevOps for CI/CD

Experience in AWS services used for Modernization and Implementation services

Competencies:

Effectively communicates with technical and non-technical audiences

Able to document and present complex architectures for the customerxe2x80x99s technical teams

Education National Diploma: Information Technology (Required)
