We are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) who will serve as a pivotal clinical resource and leader within our esteemed hospital. The CNS will specialize in a particular clinical area, showcasing advanced competence and consistency in their practice.
Key Responsibilities: * Advanced clinical care
- Consultation as an expert source of knowledge
- Clinical teaching for staff and learners
- Research initiatives
- Exercising leadership in their field
- Registration as a Professional Nurse with the South African Nursing Council or an equivalent NQF level 7 qualification
- Possession of a post-basic qualification in the specific area of specialty OR demonstrated extensive experience in the field, complemented by contemporary skills and knowledge
- Ability to implement and uphold standards of healthcare practices mandated by accredited bodies and relevant health legislation
- Prior experience in a private hospital setting would be advantageous
- Proficiency in technical knowledge and skills relevant to the role
