xc2xb7 Develop a marketing strategy for the clinic aligned to LHC business plan and marketing strategy and drive the marketing of the clinic by understanding, identifying and addressing the needs of the target market and local community including understanding competitor strategies.
xc2xb7 Maintain quality patient care standards.
Achievement of clinic financial targets
xc2xb7 Areas of focus include Budget, Capex / special projects, activity, revenue, cost of sales, overheads, EBITDA and working capital.
xc2xb7 In all of the above identify trends, using root cause analysis, and implement remedial action where necessary through effective use of heads of department and enabling functions as required.
Effective clinic operations management
xc2xb7 Drive the optimal functioning of clinic operations, identify and monitor gaps and risks and implement corrective action accordingly.
Effective relationship management with doctors
xc2xb7 Drive doctor attraction and retention and co-ordinate and participate, where applicable, in the optimal functioning of the Medical Advisory Committee.
Effective quality systems management
xc2xb7 Drive improvement of quality metrics and implementation of LHC standardized complaints management system
xc2xb7 Drive retention of ISO certification and ensure compliance to clinical benchmarking.
xc2xb7 Actively lead and market quality in LHC as it relates to staff, doctors and other stakeholders.
Effective people management
xc2xb7 Demonstrate visible leadership in respect of LHC values, operating model and strategy.
xc2xb7 Actively sponsor LHC initiatives and projects.
xc2xb7 Actively lead and manage clinic MANCO and ensure participation from all parties to achieve strategic objectives.
xc2xb7 Provide direction and inspire positive work behaviour.
Governance and risk management
xc2xb7 Ensure and drive optimal management of business governance to achieve sound business ethics, risk management and control with appropriate transparency and controls.
Minimum Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:xc2xb7 Relevant degree essential.
xc2xb7 Business management qualification advantageous.
xc2xb7 Proven leadership and general business management experience (including financial management and business planning processes) within a healthcare environment.
xc2xb7 Knowledge of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role-players including understanding of relevant legislation.
xc2xb7 Basic understanding of or the ability to learn specialization fields, terminology and medical equipment.
