The South African office plays a key role in supporting local producers and exporters in meeting international requirements for organic and sustainability certifications.
About the Role:
The Client Relationship Officer will be based at the Somerset West office and report directly to the Client Relationship Manager. This role plays a pivotal part in managing client communication and ensuring the smooth flow of certification processes.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client communication for organic certification services across Southern and/or East Africa.
• Ensure smooth certification flow for all clients.
• Assist with client inquiries and provide guidance on certification requirements.
• Follow up on non-compliance resolutions after audits.
• Prepare and issue renewal quotations.
• Handle business telephone inquiries from clients.

Requirements:

• Tertiary degree or diploma in business, agriculture, or a client service-related field.
• Previous experience in client service or certification is advantageous but not essential.
• High level of computer literacy (MS Office proficiency).
• Excellent English and Afrikaans communication skills (spoken and written).
• Organized, self-confident, and willing to learn.
• Interest or experience in sustainable farming and/or certification is beneficial.
