A leading East African safari company is seeking a Client Experience Expert (B2C) - Safari Travel Specialist - based in Cape Town. This role is ideal for a customer-focused travel professional with safari industry experience strong communication skills, and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences from booking through to post-travel
Description
As a Client Experience Expert, you will be a key part of the client journey, ensuring smooth communication and seamless support from deposit through to the end of the safari experience. You will work closely with the Client Experience Manager and Sales Consultants to deliver high-touch service, manage client expectations, and ensure all documentation, logistics and itinerary details are accurate and complete.
Your responsibilities will include building strong client relationships, handling pre and post-travel communication, managing booking changes and cancellations, and assisting with complaint resolution. You will also be responsible for selling add-on services such as day tours, cultural visits and balloon safaris, and ensuring all clients receive personalised and memorable service.
This role requires excellent administrative skills, attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. You will also liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure a consistently high standard of service. This position is fast-paced and requires flexibility, adaptability and a proactive approach to problem solving.
