Job Description


Performs various administrative functions, tasks and duties, public relations and information services for Parks, Leisure and Cemeteries Department of Ethekwini Municipality.
Key Responsibility Areas
Performs a reception function i.e. answering, screening, referring and routing telephonic calls to the relevant persons and takes down messages.
Provides relief with switchboard duties and operates a two-way radio.
Attends to public counter and telephonic enquiries, enters complaints into the complaints
register and distributes complaints recorded on "Faultman" to the relevant persons.
Records replies and action taken in the complaint register/Faultman.
Performs an administration function in conjunction with the Administrative Assistant.

Essential Requirements
Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent.
