COMPANY DESCRIPTION:
Our client, an upmarket hotel and conference center in Pretoria is looking for experienced and dedicated Cleaners to join their team as soon as possible. Candidates must be able to work long hours, night shifts and weekends to meet operational requirements.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and sanitize treatment rooms, bathrooms, locker rooms, and relaxation areas
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces and floors
• Replenish towels, linens, and toiletries as needed
• Ensure laundry (towels, robes, linens) is collected, washed, dried, and stored appropriately
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste in accordance with hygiene protocols
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to the supervisor
• Ensure all cleaning products and tools are used and stored safely
• Follow spa and hospitality standards for cleanliness and presentation
• Assist in setting up rooms for treatments or events as required
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism around guests and team members

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience (preferably in a spa, hotel, or healthcare setting)
• Good attention to detail and time management skills
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physically fit and able to stand, bend, and lift during shifts
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a strong sense of hygiene and cleanliness
