Duties and responsibilities




Clean and sanitise all areas in appointed accommodation category according to current colour-coding system. Follow procedures of the colour-coding system regarding the use of cleaning detergents and cleaning equipment. Keep equipment clean and in good hygienic condition and report faulty equipment to the Housekeeping Manager. Ensure compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures and ensure protective gear is worn to maintain safety in Department. Prepare residences timeously for conferences, this entails cleaning of rooms, making up beds and taking off linen after conferences. To attend all staff meetings as indicated by Housekeeping Manager. Keep rest rooms/storerooms in a neat and hygienic state. Adhere to working hours as stipulated in job description. Weekend work might be required over long weekends and during conferences. Work overtime when required, especially during conferences. Fulfil any other housekeeping duties as required by HRA.





Inherent Job Requirements




Grade 10 on NQF level 2. Relevant experience related to the duties and responsibilities.

Recommendations




Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a colour code cleaning system. Colour coding cleaning system certificate. Competencies

Salary:



The annual remuneration package, including benefits is R113 394.47 per annum.
