Civil QC Inspector - AtlantisPURPOSE OF ROLEThe Civil QC inspector is required to ensure all work performed by Lesedi or subcontractors conform to our customer`s relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements. Deliverables in terms of client requirements and to ensure the safety and reliability of manufactured goods, construction projects, or engineered systems.KEY PERFORMANCE AREASPrevious experience in civil construction works and supervision or inspection of roadworksRecord inspections, tests and work executedMonitor the review of the contractorxe2x80x99s documents/shop drawings to flag and rectify any issues which may affect the stability or function of any components or systemsPreparing daily logs and reportsMonitoring and ensuring that all civil/structural engineering aspects of the project are carried out as per inspection plan/drawings/codes and specificationsMonitor safety aspects when dealing with Civil/structural installationsPerform and or evaluate tests confirming quality requirements, civil/structural finishes and building components by conducting thorough site inspection for all civil/structural works as per approved shop drawings, specifications and method statementField checks placement, location and quality of civil/structural finishes, building structure componentsPerform civil/structural inspections and material inspectionsEnsure compliance of civil/structural l works to design requirements, specifications and project planQUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCEDiploma in Civil Engineering or equivalentOSHA, ACI, NICET, CISEC/QSP Certified InspectorAuditor 90015 years` related experience in Civil/ Construction environment.Experience in the use of various softwarexe2x80x99s including Microsoft Office products and other PM Software is requiredKnowledge of Codes, Standards and Civil construction Processes.Minimum 5 years QA/QC experienceExperience in managing subcontractors and teamsMust be able to prepare reports and meeting minutes and update construction record documentsCOMPETENCIESHigh degree of integrity and loyaltySelf-motivated with the ability to independently initiate activitiesAble to accept personal accountability and driving accountability in othersA team player and able to generate team spirit and cooperation.Able to establish and maintain allocated stakeholder relationshipsHave foresight to anticipate opportunities and threatsMethodical, with good attention to dealShould you not hear from us within 21 days of the closing of the advert, kindly regard your application to have been unsuccessful.
