Client based in Burgesfort seeking mining staff




QUALIFICATIONS



Minimum

• National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Bachelorxe2x80x99s Honours Degree (Bsc or B.Eng NQF 8) in Civil Engineering or simialr field
• Registered as a professional engineer (Pr. Eng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
• Member of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE)
• MDP Cerificate advantagous
• Project management advantagous
• Quanity survey certificate advantagous
• Valid Driverxe2x80x99s License
• Minimum 8-10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience as Civil Engineer: Surface Infrastructure or similar role in the mining

Industry.

• Minimum 5 yearsxe2x80x99 or more practical experience in the construction of both surface and underground

infrastructure for hard rock mining operations in 5G-enabled mine

• Minimum 3-5 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in developing and reviewing SOPs and COPs
• Experience with mine planning tools, such as XPAC, IntelliCAD, AutoCAD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• English: Fully Proficient
• Mandarin: Fully Proficient (preferred)
• Computer Literate (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Mine planning and support software such as XPAC, IntelliCAD, AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of relevant Acts regulating mining and engineering principles.
• Able to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
• Good design skills
• Analytical problem-solving and planning
• High level of proficiency in writing technical reports and communication
• Budget and resource planning and management
• 5G mining principles in terms of Civil Engineering both theory and implementation.
• Mine Surface Infrastructure design and development
