SUMMARY:
We are hiring: Civil Engineer
POSITION INFO:
We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team for upcoming infrastructure and solar PV projects in Vanderbijlpark. The ideal candidate should have both strong technical expertise and hands-on site experience.
As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, execution, and supervision of civil works such as roads, stormwater systems, and solar PV installations. You will also oversee and manage project delivery in terms of time, budget, and quality in accordance with specifications.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage design and construction of civil works for infrastructure and PV projects.
Coordinate with contractors and ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
Supervise site work, including stormwater systems, roads, and other related infrastructure.
Monitor progress, manage resources, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
Ensure all activities are aligned with legal, environmental, and safety regulations.
Prepare and manage documentation for compliance and reporting purposes.

Minimum Requirements

Qualification: BTech or BEng in Civil

. * Experience:
- At least 10 years in infrastructure and civil construction.
- Minimum 5 years experience in Solar PV Projects. * Professional Registration:
- Advantageous: Registration as a Pr. Eng or Pr. Tech with ECSA. * Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of applicable specifications, standards, and construction methods (e.g. , FIDIC). * Other:
- Must be able to work independently and manage on-site teams.
- Willingness to travel and work on sites.
