Civil Engineer or Technologist (Associate) - PretoriaEmployment Type: PermanentReference No: 11887PretoriaQualifications and experience:BSc /B Eng /BTech in Civil Engineering.Min eight years post-graduation experience.Min 2 years post xe2x80x93registration experience.Candidate must be professionally registered with ECSA as a Pr. Engineer or Pr. Technologist.Roads and stormwater design experience will be an advantage.Responsibilities:Experience and understanding of statutory approval processes;Planning and/or conceptual design, detail design, specification, procurement process administration and contract administration of projects.Manage commercial, quality, resourcing, scheduling and technical risk during project lifecycle;Carrying out measurements and valuations to produce accurate project schedules, quantities and valuations at all stages of a project.Assistance with maintaining quality assurance on projects.Ensuring that project timelines and deliverables are met.Excellent technical writing skills, with good communication and time management skills.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of statutory procedures and technical standards.Strong communication and people relation management skills.Work well in a dynamic team environment and able to function independently with limited guidance.Sense of urgency and ability to respond efficiently and effectively in the execution of project tasks.Suitable candidate must have a valid driverxe2x80x99s license and own vehicle, candidate must be willing to travel to remote sites.The candidate will also play role in the review of work and the mentoring of staff as part of our team.Requirements:Experience in AutoCAD, Civil3D, WaterMate and PipeMate or similar design packages will be an advantage.Remuneration:Negotiable and based on the candidates qualifications and years of relevant experiencePLEASE NOTEClosing date:9/28/2023 12:00:00 AMDOING GOOD WHILE DOING BUSINESS
