Civil Engineer

Job Description
We are searching for a highly skilled Civil Engineer with demonstrated Project Management competencies to establish and lead companywide projects and initiatives, advising the business on all project elements, including engineering design, quality planning, installation, commissioning and ensuring that projects are executed within budget, scope and agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and review civil engineering designs. Manage conceptual, feasibility, and detailed design stages for civil engineering components of projects. Oversee construction and contractor activities to ensure compliance with design standards, safety regulations, and project schedules. Prepare engineering reports, technical documentation, cost estimates, project schedules, and risk assessments. Support the development and optimisation of both surface and underground infrastructure layouts. Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with statutory requirements. Monitor and assess existing civil infrastructure to recommend maintenance, upgrades, or optimisation initiatives.
Minimum Requirements
B.Sc or B.Eng Engineering (Civil), together with a recognised Project Management qualification. Minimum 3 to 8 years experience with a proven track record in managing medium to large sized engineering/technical projects. SACPCMP registration an added advantage.
