Are you a Civil Design Engineer with a BSc. or bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in civil engineering with 4+ years of experience in drafting and design? Proven experience with AutoCAD is a non-negotiable xe2x80x93 previous experience with software such as Prokon, Civil 3D, and PVsyst is advantageous. Experience interfacing with other engineering disciplines (structural, electrical, and mechanical) is also crucial to securing this role. Expect to get your hands dirty as you engage with every phase of the project. From the first conceptualisation of a design to manufacturing and construction, you will be leading the execution and scheduling of highly-skilled teams of professionals. • Candidates with a National Diploma/National Technical Diploma will be considered, however, candidates with a BSc. or bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in civil engineering will be given preference.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Must have 4+ years in design and drafting
• Proven experience with Solar PV projects
• High proficiency in AutoCAD (Experience using Prokon, MS Projects, PVSyst Civil 3D advantageous)

RESPONSIBILITIES
The Civil Design Engineer that we are looking for will be responsible for designing, developing, monitoring, improving, and commissioning our clientxe2x80x99s Solar PV projects. The role demands a highly detail-orientated individual capable of managing interdisciplinary teams of engineers, maintaining relationships with vendors and stakeholders, and ensuring the highest quality designs are produced at the lowest possible cost.
