Job Summary
Hire Resolve's Client, a reputable mining company in the Northern Cape, is currently looking for an experienced Chief Rock Engineer to join their mining team. :
Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
Rock Engineering Certificate issued by the Chamber of Mines.
Between 5 and 10 years of relevant experience in a geotechnical operational role, with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity focused on open-pit geological operations.
Experience in an opencast mining environment, with strong skills in slope design and modelling, implementation of slope monitoring systems, and ground control.
Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and lead teams to meet performance targets.
Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and reporting abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must hold a valid Code B driver's license and be medically fit to work.
