Job Description
We are seeking a Chief Operating Officer for a 5-year contract, based in East London, Eastern Cape
Applicants are required to meet the following criteria:
- Related NQF8 (Post Grad Diploma / Honors Degree)
- Postgraduate qualification in Business Management
- Advanced business knowledge and solid understanding of industry specifics and business strategies
- MBA / NBL or Executive Management Development Programme (preferable)
- Minimum of 10 xe2x80x93 15 yearsxe2x80x99 experience of which 5 years must be at a senior management or executive level
- Must have an understanding of the functions of a fleet service as well as occupational hazards
The successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:
- To be accountable and responsible for planning, directing, and evaluating the operation of all functions of the company including setting comprehensive goals for business growth and success
- Transport operations and fleet management
- Strategy development
- Policy review and implementation
- Operations management
- Commercial management
- Oversee customer experience
- Digitalize operations
- Stakeholder management
- Financial management
- People management
- Reporting
Salary: Market related for the contract duration
