Job Description
Job Summary MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: o BSc / BEng / BTech in Mining Engineering or NQF Level 7 qualification in Mineral Resources Management o Professional Registration: ECSA or COM Certificate of Competency (advantageous) o Software Proficiency: Deswik, Mine2-4D, Datamine, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: o 8 years in underground mine planning, with 3 to 5 years in a senior or lead planning role o Strong exposure to mechanised underground mining systems (e.g., long-hole stoping, trackless mining). COMPETENCIES: o Expert knowledge of underground mine design and planning standards o Strong understanding of South African mining legislation and regulatory frameworks o Technical leadership and people management skills o High level of planning discipline and attention to detail o Strong communication, interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration.
