About Us

Fortune Capital Holdings is a Cape Town based holding company focused on acquiring and scaling small to medium sized logistics businesses. Our acquisition strategy is powered through a combination of seller financing, bank debt, and government funding programs.

We target logistics businesses generating R5 million - R10 million in annual revenue, with the long term goal of building a portfolio valued at R500 million. After we grow these companies, our strategy is to exit through sales to industry competitors or private equity firms.

An M&A Lawyer - Chief Legal Officer An Industry Expert- Chief Operating Officer And now, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with strong M&A accounting expertise to join our leadership team

The Role

We are seeking a retired or highly experienced M&A Accountant to serve as chief financial officer (CFO). This is an equity based leadership role offering

5% - 10% ownership shares

in the holding company.

The CFO will play a strategic and operational role, overseeing financial structuring of acquisitions, managing funding processes, and ensuring post acquisition financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the

financial due diligence

process in acquisitions Develop

deal structures

(seller financing, bank loans, government programs) Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and performance management across portfolio companies. Provide

strategic financial leadership

to the Board and CEO Support fund raising, banking relationships, and investor relations Implement systems for financial growth , risk management and exit planning

Ideal Candidate

Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or related field

(Charted Accountant designation preferred).

5+ years of experience

in M&A, corporate finance or investment accounting Experience in

deal structuring, due diligence and financial integration

Strong knowledge of

South African financing institutions

(banks, IDC, Government funding programs). Retired accountants with M&A exposure are strongly encouraged to apply Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to grow with the company.
