Job Description
An established aviation group is seeking a highly experienced Chief Financial Officer to join its executive leadership team. This strategic role oversees Finance, IT, HR, Legal, Company Secretarial, and Administration functions across the organisation.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience, with 5-10 years in a senior leadership role.
- Qualified CA(SA) or equivalent.
- Strong financial acumen with proven project management and leadership capabilities.
- Exceptional communication, decision-making, and strategic planning skills.
- Expertise in HR, IT, and aviation finance will be advantageous.
- Lead all financial planning, analysis, reporting, and strategy.
- Oversee group-wide IT, HR, procurement, facilities, and revenue accounting.
- Manage capital allocation, treasury, and balance sheet health.
- Ensure compliance with legal, audit, and statutory requirements.
- Direct strategic planning and execution across all functional areas.
- Engage with internal/external stakeholders, auditors, financiers, and lessors.
- Drive policy development and internal controls.
- Report directly to the CEO and the Board.
