Purpose of the Job:
To oversee all financial aspects of multiple companies within the business, including accounting, procurement, budgeting, compliance, and financial reporting. The role involves managing funds efficiently, ensuring project budgets are adhered to, maintaining competitive procurement practices, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with tax legislation and corporate governance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- B Comm. Degree/Finance Diploma in Accounting
- Registered Chartered Accountant (CA)SA- preferred
- Relevant Experience of 5-10 years in a CFO/Financial Manager role.
- Experience in a senior financial management position, in the Renewable Energy industry- preferred.
- Previous experience in small to medium-sized businesses.
- Solid understanding of tax legislation in South Africa, Eswatini, and Botswana.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and assist with legal contract functions.
- Evaluating financial viability and forecasting performance as well as presenting such reports to top management and directors.
- Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, general finance, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication skills xe2x80x93 verbal & written.
- Excellent attention to detail.
