Ensure provision ofappropriate haulage capacity to meet long-term demand within the constraints of affordability.Develop the annual business plan and budget that support the Operating Divisionxe2x80x99s strategy and prudently manage resourceswithin budget guidelines according to the applicable regulatory framework and governing legislation.Strive consistently to achieve the Operating Divisionxe2x80x99s financial and operational goals and objectives and ensure that day today business affairs are appropriately monitored and managed.Ensure continuous improvement in the quality and value of the products and services provided by the company.Formulate and oversee the implementation of policies, procedures and standards.Manage, regularly evaluate and report on the performance of the Operating Division against established objectives, budgetsand strategic plans.Ensure the deployment of robust safety, health and risk management practices within TFR, and ensure that work is deliveredin accordance with the defined ethics, values and safe working practices of the organisation.Ensure alignment of TFRxe2x80x99s investment capital portfolio with its strategic objectives.Lead TFRxe2x80x99s contribution to growth and development through the provision of world-class infrastructure and technologies,expansion of economic infrastructure and skills development.Establish and maintain sound legal, governance and regulatory frameworks to ensure impeccable governance practices areinstituted within the Operating Division.Ensure that TFR has an effective management team, and actively participate in the development of management andsuccession planning.Establish and maintain sound industrial relations practices to ensure a stable and productive workforce.Qualifications & Experience:Post Graduate Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Economics, Finance, appropriate Business degree and/or a minimum of 20years experience in a large commercial enterprise, with a complex operations environment and business processes.A minimum of 15 years at a Senior Executive leadership level.In-depth knowledge of the integrated freight logistics market and changing business environment.Experience in leading major transformation within an organisation.Thorough knowledge and understanding of the planning and control of the flow of goods and materials through anorganisation.Demonstrated track record of stakeholder relationship skills and complex negotiations.Logistics expertise and sound knowledge of the competitive logistics market landscape, expansion opportunities andindustry developments.Ability to conceptualise complex problems into analytical and operational frameworks.Demonstrated stakeholder management and interpersonal relationship skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate wellacross disciplines and key collaborative institutions, government or partners.Experience in leading major transformation within an organization.Competencies: Strategy & SustainabilityEthical & Inspirational LeadershipBusiness Performance and DeliveryRelationship ManagementCorporate Governance & CompliancePersonal Mastery
