Job Description


Your successful track record running and growing operations in an engineering, manufacturing or technology environment has prepared you to take over the helm from the current CEO (who is retiring after a full tenure). This is a proudly South African business with three successful decades behind it and a future well positioned for international growth with highly scalable products and services from a current medium sized national and European footprint.

Reporting to the shareholders, you will effectively manage cross-functional teams and operations, driving growth via international market penetration and scaling current business units comprising; Asset management services, software solutions, advisory & academy and intelligent condition monitoring solutions.

The international client base includes FMCG manufacturers, Retail, Mining, Facilities, Oil & Gas, Public infrastructure, OEMs and Renewable Energy.
You will take full responsibility for the organisation including strategy and team management, business development, stakeholder management and operations.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing full P&L, preferably in a multinational company
  • Relevant NQF 7 qualification essential with an MBA and Engineering qualification an advantage
  • Proven track record of growing a business and expanding into international markets
  • Experience leading complex product offerings and stakeholder management, including investors and board members
  • Experiencing working in the Engineering, Production, Technology or Mining Industry
Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of Physical Asset Management
  • Leveraging technology for business growth
  • Strong business acumen, acquisitions, and financial management expertise
  • Risk management and crisis management

  • Visionary leadership with the ability to foresee future trends and opportunities, strategic planning and driving implementation towards long-term success and innovation.
