Mont Marie Restaurant is seeking a skilled and passionate Griller. The Griller will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meats and other grill items to perfection, ensuring that each dish meets the restaurant's high standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a wide range of meats, vegetables and breakfast items on the grill according to established recipes and standards. Ensure that all items are cooked to the appropriate temperature and doneness, maintaining consistency and quality throughout service. Monitor grill temperatures and adjust as needed to achieve optimal results. Conduct regular inspections of grill equipment and utensils to ensure they are clean, well-maintained, and in good working condition. Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, always maintaining a clean and organized work area. Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and rotating products to minimize waste.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Griller or similar role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting Knowledge of different cuts of meat and grilling techniques Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks as needed. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in food preparation and presentation Food safety certification and knowledge of health and safety regulations is advantageous. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
