This is a contract role for a Restaurant Chef at Nederburg Wines, located in Paarl. The Chef will oversee daily food preparation, cooking, and ensure high-quality food service. Responsibilities include developing and executing menus, maintaining hygiene standards, and managing culinary operations to provide an excellent dining experience. This is an on-site role.
Qualifications
Experience on hot section and pass
Function catering, weddings, events
Food Preparation and Cooking skills
Strong Culinary Skills
Experience in Food Service and maintaining high standards in Hygiene
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Passion for creating traditional and innovative dishes
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
Culinary degree or relevant certification
