Rhebokskloof Wine Estate, situated in the scenic Paarl area, is searching for a hardworking, self-motivated, and energetic Chef De Partie to join their talented kitchen team. The ideal candidate is creative and passionate about uncomplicated real food, believes in xe2x80x98farm-to-tablexe2x80x99, and supporting local suppliers. The successful candidate will report to the Executive Chef and be responsible for: *developing menus and recipes in collaboration with the Executive Chef *ensuring adequacy of mise-en-place *providing input on new ways of presentation of dishes *optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality *enforcing strict health and hygiene standards *ensuring smooth running of food production *keeping up to date with latest restaurant & industry trends, and identify new culinary techniques and presentations *reporting any maintenance needs to relevant staff *all other tasks related to the role.
