Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join our professional kitchen team. You will take responsibility for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring every plate that leaves your pass reflects our commitment to excellence in flavour, presentation, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Take ownership of your section (e.g., larder, grill, garnish, pastry) during preparation and service.
Prepare, cook, and present dishes to Pear Tree Bistro's exacting standards.
Ensure consistency in flavour, texture, and presentation for every service.
Manage stock rotation, labelling, and section cleanliness to maintain the highest hygiene standards.
Work seamlessly with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver smooth service in a busy environment.
Contribute to menu development, seasonal specials, and creative plating ideas.
Mentor and guide junior members of the team to support their growth.
Uphold all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
Skills & Experience
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-quality environment.
Strong culinary skills with a deep understanding of cooking techniques.
Excellent organisation, time management, and ability to work under pressure.
A passion for seasonal produce and refined cuisine.
Positive, team-focused attitude.
