to join our fast-paced, high-performing kitchen team. This is a key role for someone who is confident running a section, consistently delivers excellent food, and thrives under pressure. You'll work closely with the Sous and Head Chefs to ensure smooth service and high standards every day.
Key Responsibilities:
Run a section independently during prep and service
Maintain consistency and presentation of dishes to brand standards
Support junior chefs and help train Commis Chefs where needed
Uphold high hygiene and food safety standards at all times
Assist with stock rotation, waste control, and daily ordering when required
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or higher in a busy kitchen
PREFERABLY LIVE IN THE SOUTHERN SUBURBS of Cape Town
Solid understanding of kitchen systems, hygiene, and time management
Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm under pressure
Culinary qualification or relevant kitchen experience preferred
Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
