To identify, on board, and manage strategic partners who will re-sell Vodacom Financial Services Acquiring Services.
The role is pivotal in expanding Vodacom's reach into unbranded retail and informal markets, driving merchant acquisition and transaction volume growth.
Key accountabilities:
Partner Identification & Acquisition
Channel Enablement & On boarding
Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure sustained performance.
- Act as the primary liaison between partners and internal Vodacom teams.
Sales Strategy Execution:
- Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and operations teams to drive channel performance.
- Monitor and optimize partner sales funnels and conversion rates.
Market Intelligence & Feedback Loop:
- Gather insights from the field to inform product development and pricing strategies.
- Identify gaps and opportunities in the acquiring services ecosystem.
Education:
Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Financial Services, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in merchant services, payments, or financial services.
Proven experience in customer retention, account management, or sales support.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Analytical mind-set with ability to interpret data and trends
Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
Familiarity with POS systems, card acquiring, and merchant on boarding processes
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
Salary - R35 000 to R40 000
Contract Position - 6 months
