Internal Auditor (CIA)

to join our professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute internal audits in accordance with International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (ISPPIA). Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. Identify operational, financial, and compliance risks; provide actionable recommendations. Prepare high-quality audit reports and present findings to senior management. Support fraud investigations and special reviews as needed. Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies and tools.

Requirements:

Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), /IRBA -

mandatory

. Minimum 5 years of internal auditing experience, preferably in engineering, infrastructure, or public sector environments. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Auditing, or related field. Strong understanding of PFMA, GRAP, and South African regulatory frameworks. Proficiency in audit software (e.g., TeamMate, ACL) and data analytics. Excellent report writing, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. South African citizenship or valid work permit required.
