The Role
This candidate for this position will need to have the knowledge and ability to maintain and configure Ekco MSP's backup solutions for clients, have proficiency when using ConnectWise Manage and N-Able N-Central RMM, and have vast knowledge of Ekco MSP client environments and Ekco MSP solutions.
Responsibilities
Work as part of a team shift to deliver 24/7 services to our customers.
Manage and report on client backups.
Ensure new customers are correctly onboarded into Central Services.
Ensure existing customers are correctly offboarded by Central Services.
Create and manage automations generated within N-Able N-Central.
Create and manage monitors generated within N-Able N-Central.
Handle any internal requests/issues relating to ConnectWise Manage and N-Central.
Liaise with deployments, projects, sales and service departments when required.
Manage patching for all clients for both servers, endpoints and firewalls.
Triage alerts from third-party SOC & SIEM providers
Cover helpdesk support during an emergency on request
Requirements
Proven knowledge of a ticketing system and RMM system.
Experience working with Microsoft 365, Azure and Active Directory.
Proven experience with Windows and Mac desktop and server operating systems.
Experience in backup solutions.
Experience working with networks and networking hardware.
Engineers should be at least a Tier 2 skill Set.
Knowledge of Windows and Mac OS -Configuration and troubleshooting
Knowledge of programming languages, i.e. PowerShell, Batch, Python, is preferred
Minimum of 2+ years' experience as a Level 2 Service Desk Engineer.
College Degree (Three-year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: IT or related technical field is an advantage.
