Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead cost management initiatives through strategic sourcing to achieve the lowest Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards and business requirements.
• Support new sales and drive client value through category expertise.
• Deliver preferential procurement targets aligned with BBBEE objectives.
• Conduct tender processes and cycle negotiations to secure best net pricing.
• Mitigate supply risks including stock outs, quality deviations, and stop supply issues.
• Perform purchasing audits and ensure alignment with category strategy.
• Maintain and manage supplier agreements and catalogues on Tsebo Source.
• Extract and analyze data for reporting, supplier market insights, and profitability evaluations

• Strategic sourcing & cost management expertise
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities
• ERP system proficiency (preferably Tsebo Source or My Market)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
• High ethical standards and business acumen
• Strong planning, time management, and decision-making
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Resilience and focus in a fast-paced, complex environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field
• CIPS certification is advantageous
• 5-8 years of operational experience in the Catering industry
• Experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management is a strong advantage
