Job Description
As a Casual Waiter / Waitress , you will welcome guests, present menus and wine lists, take orders via POS, deliver food and beverages, and ensure tables are set and maintained to high standards. You will assist with upsells, offer dessert and coffee, and ensure a polished, seamless service experience. Cleanliness, hygiene, and excellent personal presentation will be key components of your role.
This is a contract role ideal for a service-oriented individual looking to gain experience in luxury hospitality.
Compensation & Terms:
Contract position (duration as per client needs)
Cost-to-company pay structure appropriate for contract roles
Grade 12
Preferably 1 year's experience in waiter / waitress roles or hospitality
POS system knowledge / ability to work with ordering systems
Strong communication and customer service skills
Professional, well-presented, and able to work under pressure
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Reliable transport
Between 1 - 3 Years
