Job Description

Cashier



1. Duties will include



1. Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers.

2. Processing of transactions at the till point for customers

3. assist customers with exceptional service on the till point

4. Processing of damages/credits as per the company policy

5. Maintain awareness on advertising and promotions

6. Daily cash ups

7. Attend to customer enquiries

8. Adhere to the company policies and procedures

9. Report to management

10. General administration

2. Requirements



Matric

Previous cashier knowledge and at least 2 years' experience is essential

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to communicate Zulu would be advantageous

Must be able to work well under pressure with attention to detail and accuracy

Enthusiastic and passionate

A team worker who is able to work well independently and with minimal supervision.

Must be willing to work extended hours, weekends, public holidays, and events as per the operational requirements of the store.

NOTE: This store is a seven-day operation

Job Type: Full-time

High School (matric) (Preferred)
Work Location: In person
