Cashier | Cape Town | Tile and building industry
We are looking for dynamic and competent Cashier to join a team based in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town. The succesful candidate must possess good customer service skills and be able to work under pressure. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08h00 -17h00, incl. alternative Saturdays and public holidays. Saturday 8.00 am xe2x80x93 3.00 pm, Sundays 9.00 am - 2.00 pm. Alternate Public Holidays 9.00 am - 2.00 pm.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Cashing and receipting
- Checking of Invoices
- Checking of float
- Assisting customers
- Daily cash up
- Ensure day file is signed off by management
- Ensure all payments are done correctly
- Relieve at Reception for switchboard
- Housekeeping
- Matric
- At least 2 years' experience in cashier role (advantageous)
- Numeracy skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Able to work well under pressure
- Available and able to work weekends and public holiday
- Attention to detail
