The Mission: As the Cashbook Bookkeeper, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of the organization, ensuring seamless day-to-day banking processes and maintaining accurate financial records. Requirements: The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Essential: Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot table and V-lookup experience, enabling effective data management.
• Essential: A Bookkeeping or Finance related Degree or Diploma, laying a solid foundation in financial principles.
• Essential: 5 - 8 years of Cashbook Bookkeeping experience, showcasing extensive financial knowledge and expertise.
• Highly advantageous: Nicor software experience, displaying adaptability to the company's financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Downloading and uploading Nedbank & RMB statements into the advanced Nicor software, managing a high volume portfolio of bank accounts with precision and efficiency.
• Meticulously organizing and saving reports in designated folders for easy access to vital financial data.
• Collaborating with various stakeholders to supply essential banking information to TBM and Debtors, while showcasing exceptional communication skills.
• Handling transactions that require manual reconciliation, such as debit orders & receipts, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proactively following up with banks to resolve queries promptly and ensuring impeccably maintained bank balances.
• Skillfully executing relevant transfers, investments, and withdrawals of deposits, leveraging financial prowess.
• Managing VAT refunds, transfers, and allocations with precision and proficiency.
• Facilitating the smooth opening and closing of new call (investment) accounts, drawing upon extensive financial expertise.
