Position: Carpenter / Furniture Restorer
Industry: Distribution, Warehousing, and Freight
Location: Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
Salary: Market related

Qualifications and Accreditations:
?Minimum requirement: Grade 12 with relevant work experience.
?Valid South African driverxe2x80x99s license, minimum code 8

Minimum Attributes:
? Knowledge of the methods of carpentry work.
?xefxb8x8f Skills in using tools to cut and join wooden materials.
xe2x9cx8dxefxb8x8f Ability to follow written instructions.
?xefxb8x8f Ability to follow oral instructions with little need for repetition.
xe2x9dx84xefxb8x8f Ability to work under pressure.

Essential duties and responsibilities.
? Restore furniture and fix damaged areas.
? Gather material to be used.
? Paint mixing and colour matching.
? Measures and marks materials for cutting.
? Cuts and drills wood and other materials using hand and power tools.
? Joins materials with nails, screws, or glue.
? Checks accuracy of work with levels, rulers and measuring tapes.
xe2x8fxb3 Deadline driven with ability to carefully assess and streamline processes.
xe2x8fxb0 Must be able to handle pressure and be willing to work extended hours if required.
xe2x9dx8c No cabinet makers please.
