Carpenter Foreman - Saldanhaob Description xe2x80x93 Carpenter Foreman/ManagerCarpenter Manager (CM) will be responsible for managing carpenter related activities on multiple housing projects.The CM will plan and focus on all carpenter related phases of the project, scheduling, cost controls, managing staff and sub-contractors, materials management, monitoring and reporting.The CM will report to the Project Manager.Key roles and responsibilities:xc2xb7 Should be able to manage and coordinate (plan, execute and monitor) day to day site operations and document daily activities.xc2xb7 Time and project management.xc2xb7 Ensure that company quality standards and goals are met.xc2xb7 Monitoring and reporting of programme.xc2xb7 Calculate, order and manage materials for all phases of the projects.xc2xb7 Site reporting to management.xc2xb7 Improve systems, upskill site staff to meet job requirements.xc2xb7 Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory building and safety regulations.Requirements:xc2xb7 Proven working experience of at least 5-years in carpenter related activities. Specifically boxing, formwork, roofs, decking and general carpentry.xc2xb7 Construction related qualification will be advantageous.xc2xb7 Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.xc2xb7 Understanding of all facets of the construction process.xc2xb7 Familiarity with basic construction management software packages typically Microsoft Office.xc2xb7 Competent in conflict and crisis management.xc2xb7 Excellent time and project management skills.xc2xb7 Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
