Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities



Conduct theoretical/practical classes as per the qualification requirements

Organize relevant curricular activities to ensure that the subject, learning area of the learners are conducted in a proper manner

Assess and record the attainment of learner achievements

Assist with the issuing and management of learning resources and equipment

Monitor the Work placement for students

Report and account for student performance in their programmes

Record and report on absenteeism and perform other relevant duties within the ambit of teaching and learning.

Establish classroom environment which stimulates positive learning and actively engages learners in the learning process.

Use a variety of strategies to meet outcomes of the roll out plan.

Provide constructive feedback and guidance to participants based on assessment results to support their skill development and improvement.

Ensure fairness, consistency, and objectivity in the assessment process by adhering to established guidelines and procedures.

Collaborate with programme facilitators and coordinators to identify areas for improvement and recommend adjustments to curriculum and instructional methods as needed.

Maintain accurate records of participant assessments, scores, and progress throughout the programmes.

Communicate assessment outcomes and performance expectations clearly and effectively to participants, staff, and stakeholders.

Uphold programme integrity and confidentiality by handling assessment materials and participant information with discretion and professionalism.

Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and emerging trends relevant to business development and automotive sales to inform assessment practices and content development.

Qualifications



National Diploma or N6 Certificate or any relevant qualification in Carpentry

Artisan qualification.

Minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience.

Must be computer literate (MS Office packages/Management Information System).

Registered with NAMB as an assessor and moderator will be added advantage.

Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of Quality Assurance.

Work experience



2 to 3 years of experience in facilitating.

Proven experience in facilitating and assessing leadership.

Familiarity with relevant legislative and quality assurance requirements.
