Role Overview:
We are seeking a caring, patient, and reliable Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide daily support to neurodiverse young adults, encouraging independence, building life skills, and ensuring their wellbeing on our working care farm in Morningstar.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care tailored to each individual's needs. Support with daily living activities (such as meals, farming, and routines). Encourage independence and assist with skill-building activities. Foster positive relationships and promote inclusion within the community. Monitor and report on wellbeing, progress, and any areas of concern.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with neurodiverse individuals (autism, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, etc.) is advantageous. Compassionate, patient, and committed to empowering others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a team and independently. Relevant qualifications in caregiving (preferred but not essential). Clear criminal background check.
