Job Summary Closing date: 8 April 2025 Salary: Market related Experience: 5 Years and more in Hospital experience. Education: Care worker Certificate Responsibilities Assistance with daily activities: Helping with dressing, grooming, and bathing as needed. Meal preparation: assist with feeding when necessary. Medication management: Ensuring medications are taken on time (with guidance from family or medical professionals). Companionship: Providing social and emotional support, engaging in conversation, and participating in activities to keep the individual mentally stimulated. Housekeeping: Light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment. Monitoring health: Observing the elderly person's health and well-being, reporting any changes to the medical professionals. Mobility assistance: Helping with movement around the facility, ensuring safety when walking or transitioning to the chair or assistive devises. Requirements Proven experience as a Care worker for 5 years + in a hospital environment. Qualification: Nursing or a equivalent caregiver qualification. Patience and compassion: Ability to offer emotional and physical support in a caring manner. Reliability and trustworthiness: Dependability is key, as this is a full-time position. Good communication skills: Comfortable with clear communication with the elderly person and their family members. Physical stamina: Able to assist with physical tasks such as lifting.
