Job Description


Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years SAP design and configuration experience
  • 2+ Years Agile experience (e.g. sprint planning, stand-up)
  • Work with business process/activity owners in understanding business requirement and solution design
  • Knowledge and experience of Retail SAP Architecture, implementation and operations
  • Functional knowledge of SAP SD, POS, POSDM/POSDTA and CAR modules including interfaces, data migration and integration
  • MS Office proficiency with advanced Excel and Visio
Responsibilities
  • Provide business analysis and process redesign expertise to make recommendations to optimise CAR and related processes, policies and procedures
  • Collaborate and exchange ideas with Portfolio Managers/Head and Core Retail Application and Architecture in a bid to arrive at the appropriate designs and solutions
  • Make recommendations to optimise CAR processes, policies and procedures
  • Table and introduce CAR module's new functions
  • Ensure best practice configuration aligned to Group architecture and SAP standards
  • Document configuration standards
  • Ensure that items produced are in line with the solution architecture, design and specifications
  • Assist Portfolio Managers and CAR team with business case development
  • Ensure best practice configuration according to SAP standards and Group architecture
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to all IT Governance frameworks including policies, procedures, processes and standards
  • Ensure that all required system administration to process CR's and related CHARM's throughout the solution landscape (Develop, QA and Production) is completed
  • Ensure that all SolMan logs are cleared within SLA (24 hours), trouble shoot and resolve where required
  • Create and update functional and technical documentation and processes
  • Make recommendations on the integration between CAR and other SAP/Non-SAP modules (SD, POS, FI)
  • Manage CAR configuration
  • Monitor the building of security into solutions as per specifications
  • Migrate data

  • Review changes and requests and identify the best and most efficient methods of maintaining and using configuration
  • Manage data modelling and system process mapping
  • Identify and manage data quality issues and support data governance
